LG has just unveiled the world's first rollable OLED TV with its new Signature Series OLED TV R, which arrives in a slick-looking brushed aluminum case, where a 65-inch rollable 4K OLED TV will slowly roll out, and then back into its case when you're finished with it.

We've been consistently impressed by LG's OLED TVs in the past, since the panel technology produces ideal black levels and impressively wide color gamuts based on our lab tests. For convenient playback and mirroring, LG will be adding support for AirPlay 2 by Apple. The price and availability of the Signature Oled TV R has not been confirmed.

Apart from featuring Google Assistant voice assistant, the new LG TVs in 2019 will also sport Amazon Alexa voice assistant. "The panel is of 65" dimensions - we now don't have any more information about the technical specifcations of the panel, other than it is seemingly powered by LG's newly announced second generation Alpha9 SoC. However, Samsung's largest 98-inch QLED 8K TV fully demonstrating Samsung's technical strength in the 8K display field. Whenever the TV is not in use, the screen can automatically roll down.

At CES 2019, Samsung exhibited a range of innovative products covering entertainment, home, work, Internet driving, equipment solutions, and robotics platforms.

LG's new OLED TV R's base also rocks a hefty 100W Dolby Atmos speaker rig, and are reportedly about as good as a good soundbar.
