Hung was captured on camera talking with Miss USA, Sarah Summers, and Miss Colombia, Valeria Molares, about how hard it would be for Miss Cambodia, Rern Sinat, competing in the pageant as a woman who can not speak either English or Spanish. After years of hard work and dealing with discrimination in the industry, Ponce finally made it to the global level this year.

Messages of support were pouring in Sunday on Twitter after Ponce's exit.

Ponce has described the obstacles she faced as a trans model.

She also walked down the runway.

"She's a well brought up pageant girl", Hung said, concluding that Gray will be "amazing" as Miss Universe. "I'm going really fast".

Everyone cheering for #MissSpain!

Miss Cambodia is here and doesn't speak any English, and not a single other person speaks her language.

She participated in the Miss World Spain 2015 pageant where she represented Cadiz.

Miss Universe, formerly owned by President Trump, didn't allow transgender competitors until recently.

Those who bet on the event says Ponce is a favorite in Sunday's competition.
