Ariana Grande Accuses Ex Pete Davidson Of 'Clinging' To Relevancy

In a new "Saturday Night Live" promo, Davidson jokingly proposed to this week's musical guest, singer Maggie Rogers, as host actor Jonah Hill looked on. "You wanna get married?' She replies 'no" and then he makes a baseball joke which basically means he's very unlucky in love. We all remember the "birth control" statement when Pete said he had switched out her contraceptive pills with tic-tacs. When she turned him down, Davidson was quick to note that he was now 0-3 when it comes to his attempts at marriage.

This evening, however, Grande threw some serious shade in Davidson's direction, seemingly in response to a joke Davidson made about their relationship.

Those tweets have since been deleted. From announcing their relationship together earlier this year to getting engaged only a few weeks after, the relationship has been moving very fast and very publicly.

The God Is A Woman singer took to Twitter on Thursday to respond to the promo, according to PEOPLE.

The Florida-born beauty wrote: "for somebody who claims to hate relevancy u sure love clinging to it huh, ' later keeping it short and sweet in saying, 'thank u, next" and 'hell naw tho'.
