Disney has just dropped the first trailer for the upcoming live-action adaption of Aladdin.

We just started shooting Aladdin and I wanted to intro you guys to our new family... Smith shared the poster, which you can check out in the gallery below, on his Facebook, saying: "LEMME OUT! Can't wait for ya'all to see me blue!" As Aladdin and Jasmine fall in love, they must also face the evil Jafar, who plans to become Sultan by marrying Jasmine. The poster featured the Genie's iconic lamp.

Guy Ritchie's film follows numerous same beats - Mena Massoud stars as the titular charming street rat who meets the courageous and self-determined Princess Jasmine (Naomi Scott) and a Smith's Genie who may be the key to their future.

The film releases on May 24th, 2019. Disney is also developing live-action remakes for their streaming service - titles like The Sword in the Stone and Lady and the Tramp.
