Tom Hardy made waves recently surrounding Venom when he mentioned that some of his favorite scenes didn't make the cut.

The Taboo star continued: "There are like 30 to 40 minutes worth of scenes that aren't in this movie. all of them". And you know what I learned? They then attempted to reboot the franchise with Andrew Garfield in the The Amazing Spider-Man movies, but once again something was off.

He wants to know whether Tom Hardy can actually play comedy "intentionally", and says that the film's final showdown was so anti-climactic he couldn't believe that was actually it.

"Venom" comes to theaters on Friday. We maintain high hopes for a sequel, although with an opening this lack-lustre, Sony might just hit the reset button once more.

Venom is a weird beast, because on the one hand it's a very bog standard superhero origin story (even though the movie's tagline tells us the world has enough superheroes) and on the other it's nearly a body horror alien possession movie - but it never quite gets there. Yeah, me neither. Well, unless you're reading this internationally, because in that case you may be able to watch it tomorrow.

Tom Hardy has already received the most important approval of all for his new role as Venom. It's important to point out that that doesn't exactly mean it's a bad film, just that the majority of critics aren't really enjoying it.

Perhaps sensing that listing all the awesome scenes that were cut was not the best way to sell a movie to potential viewers, Ahmed interjected: "Yeah, but that's because you enjoyed filming them ..."

This teaser trailer released in February and disappointed many fans who said why was there no Venom in a trailer for the movie Venom.

"But when I was presented with the opportunity to play Venom, and that correlated with my son's love for Venom and how cool he was, I got really, really excited and decided that I really wanted to do it". "It's too bad they didn't go for the R rating though". Nasim Kuenzel of the Cameo said Hardy is expected to do a question and answer session. But Drake wants the alien, thugs are dispatched, and Eddie and Venom (yes, the alien's name is just "Venom", saving any kind of Spider tie-in) start working somewhat together to cause as much chaos as possible.

Venom is out in cinemas in Ireland on October 3.
