Mourinho wants the Manchester United board to back him over Pogba feud

Marcus Rashford reportedly received a warning from Jose Mourinho for his behaviour following Manchester United's victory over Young Boys.

It's also understood Rashford was one of the players on the receiving end of Mourinho's criticism during a recent team meeting.

United have endured a miserable start to the 2018-19 campaign, picking up just 10 points out of a possible 18 in the Premier League and suffering a shock third round Carabao Cup exit at the hands of Championship outfit Derby County.

It followed comments made by Pogba after last weekend's disappointing home draw against Wolves where he moaned about his side's defensive tactics.

"Pogba doesn't represent what a captain should convey at United, and the club is above anyone", Mourinho said to reporters.

Pogba previously played as a junior for Manchester United under Ferguson, who won more than two dozen major honours for the club before retiring in 2013.

But Old Trafford's surprisingly poor wi-fi connection has been to blame, with Pogba explaining to Mourinho the photo was actually taken at half-time, when United were leading their visitors 1-0. We are here to attack.

That's according to Spanish football expert Guillem Balague who has given an update on the World Cup victor possibly leaving Old Trafford.

'When we play like this it's easier for us'.

However, as per ESPN, United are keen on offering a new deal to Herrera, who is further reported to have a strong intent at staying on at Old Trafford.

In fact, Mourinho is odds-on to be the first big ego to leave the club, at ¼ whilst Pogba is 5/2 to be the first one to leave.

Asked why United failed to pose more of a threat against Wolves, Pogba replied: 'I can't tell you because I'm a player - it's not me.
