Other than logistics information, all we see on the invite is the text "FLAGSHIP // GAMING".
Oddly enough, the side bezels on the newer model seem to be a tiny bit larger than those on its predecessor's screen. This further supports the idea that the launch event of October 10 is actually for the Razer Phone 2. A few of the smartphone's specifications and features have been confirmed via the company's executives or benchmarking websites.
Razer is also joining the party with their cleverly named Razer Phone 2.
There's no mention of a live-stream of the event on YouTube, so we'll likely have to wait for a press release to see what happens on the 10th of October. Under the hood, the phone has Snapdragon 835 which was last year's flagship SOC packed with 4000 mAh battery.
It's rumored the phone will have up to 512GB of storage and will operate using Android 8.1, or Oreo, according to Android Headlines.
We've viewed rather about this next Razer Cell phone in a couple of leaks over the closing couple weeks.
October is heating up with the launch of LG V40 ThinQ on October 3, the announcement of the Huawei Mate 20 on October 16, the Pixel 3 on October 9 and now the Razer phone the day after. Now with the Razer Phone 2, we could assume that Razer would introduce the currently high-end Snapdragon 845 octa-core processor since the SD855 isn't available yet.
