Green Bay QB Rodgers working out with rehabbing players

Vikings safety Harrison Smith, fresh off an NFC North Player of the Week award, knows just how hard it is going up against Rodgers.


Rodgers was carted to the locker room in the second quarter of Sunday night's opener against the Chicago Bears with a left knee injury, but he returned after halftime to lead a 20-point comeback victory, despite putting little weight on his left leg.

Packers coach Mike McCarthy echoed his quarterback's "one day at a time" sentiment during his own press conference on Wednesday. Even though that's a small sample size, let's take a look at whose stock is rising and falling after one week of football in Green Bay. He says Rodgers and the training staff are still taking this day by day.

"We know he's playing", Vikings defensive end Everson Griffen said. He'll be in the rehab group [on Wednesday].


"He's always responded, puts a lot of extra time in", McCarthy told reporters.

Packers head coach Mike McCarthy updated the injury status of Rodgers while speaking today. "So, we'll see what tomorrow brings".
