Authorities in Jacksonville, Fla., have identified a Baltimore man as the perpetrator of a mass shooting Sunday during a video game tournament. We have no outstanding suspects. Sadly, he was one of the gunman's two victims.
Katz, who was found dead at the scene Sunday, took his own life with a self-inflicted gunshot wound inside the downtown Jacksonville venue, Williams said. They ran to a nearby restaurant, where workers were waving people inside, and hid in a bathroom until police arrived.
There are no other suspects, and the shooting site has been secured, according to Williams. Eleven people were injured, nine by gunshots.

Florida has suffered multiple shootings in recent years: 49 people died in a June 2016 attack on a gay nightclub, while 17 were killed at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School earlier this year.
White House press secretary Sarah Sanders said President Donald Trump has been briefed on the shooting, and they were monitoring the situation.
"Today, this evening, tonight, Jacksonville is mourning. We were just thrust into it", Cooke said.
Gun rights, which are covered by the Second Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, are one of the most hotly contested themes of American politics.
Still, we too are extending our thoughts and prayers to the victims in Jacksonville, as well as their entire family.
He added, "Gov. Scott and scores of leaders from around the state have expressed their condolences and support".
"I'm still shocked, I can hardly talk", he told CNN.
Earlier on Twitter, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office had urged people hiding in locked areas of The Landing to stay in place and ca ll 911 to make their location known.
"Heartbreaking to hear about the shooting at the Madden event", wrote Cristian Tamas, the director of esports programs for Twitch, the platform that broadcasts gamers' live streams. "We are working with authorities to gather facts at this stage".
The event was at the GLHF Game Bar in Jacksonville.
Drini Gjoka, one of the two competitors shown in the live stream, tweeted that the "tourney just got shot up" and a bullet had hit his thumb.
He said anger never escalates to violence, though.
It's unclear what kind of security was at the event, which was held at a game bar inside a waterfront mall. The gaming bar bills itself online as "Jacksonville's home for gamers and nerds alike".
