It's exactly like all of the write-ups we've read of the gameplay demos shown at E3 and Gamescom earlier in the year, and it's the whole hour's worth. Namely, the acclaimed developers have confirmed that, even though we still have to wait for the game to come out, it's now playable from start to finish which is certainly a tremendous progress.
On the heels of its E3 2018 and Gamescom 2018 closed-doors demos, CD Projekt RED finally shows off gameplay for its massively anticipated Cyberpunk 2077 game. How could that not be the case, though, we have CD Project Red working on it! While this re-reveal was welcome news to long-time fans, many still wanted to see the game in action.
You can find an embedded version of the CD PROJEKT RED Twitch stream for the reveal of the Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay demo to the general public below. The developers showed a few new pieces of concept art that give a better look at the setting and characters that you will see in the game. Elements like gunplay (both in terms of visuals and how RPG stats influence it), netrunning, vehicle physics, or the game's UI - everything's pretty much still in the playtest phase and we felt uneasy about publicly committing to any particular design.
According to the devs, Cyberpunk 2077 gun combat was developed in collaboration with a former Counter Strike player to capture the "Groove" of a fun first-person shooting. Fans should set their expectations around playing it in late 2019 or early 2020. He will talk your ear off about his favorite games which include The Last of Us and Hotline Miami.
