Hidden among a ton of archive shots from season seven is a clip of Jon Snow reuniting with sister and Lady of the North Sansa Stark.

It's been known for some time now that the eighth season wouldn't air until 2019, but HBO programming president Casey Bloys did confirm it'd be in the first half of the year.

The executive producers of Game of Thrones Season 8 are David Benioff, D.B. Weiss, Carolyn Strauss, Frank Doelger and Bernadette Caulfield; co-executive producers are Guymon Casady, Vince Gerardis, George R.R. Martin and Bryan Cogman; and producers are Chris Newman, Greg Spence and Lisa McAtackney.

"Game of Thrones" got a short preview in HBO's 2019 lineup of teasers.

A new report contends that the final season of HBO's bloodthirsty epic may not arrive as expected in April 2019, after all. However, fan demand prompted a second season order, with Moriarty writing a new story that the show's second season will be based on.

But fans may have to wait even longer to see the return of the fantasy drama, after visual effects supervisor Joe Bauer revealed that the crew has just now started working on the Emmy-nominated series.

This means the show will qualify for the Emmy Awards in '19. We're going to be toiling away on Season 8 until May of 2019, so it's eight or nine months away.

Season 2 ofBig Little Lies is likely scheduled to premiere on HBO sometime next year, and new details are slowly starting to emerge when it comes to the fan-favorite series thanks to photos from filming. A series must air between June 1, 2018, and May 31, 2019.

As you can see, the clips featuring GoT scenes are mainly comprised from old footage but there's a tantalising glimpse of a reunion between Jon and Sansa at Winterfell.

Blink and you'll miss it, but Thrones enthusiasts will surely take note of the emotional embrace between characters Jon Snow (Kit Harington) and Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner).
