'The Hills' are returning to MTV

And now the show, which ended eight years ago, is returning to MTV as The Hills: New Beginnings. Instead, the entire internet seems to be tuning into MTV for Lopez, and Lopez only.

Put some lovely people in a glamorous location, add in some friendship or relationship drama and you have a hit on your hands. Lo fans were no doubt delighted when Ja Rule made a surprise guest appearance to perform alongside Lopez for their iconic song, "I'm Real" and "Ain't it amusing". So to say that J.Lo came to slay (and is here to stay) would be an understatement.

During Lopez's performance, Rodriguez, who joined the singer on the red carpet earlier in the evening, was spotted by the cameras adorably filming the Grammy-winner on his phone.

"I had the baby, I carried the baby and now I'm still winning awards", she said. People are pointing out how shook Maluma looked after the first dancer kissed him and they're HOWLING over the other girl who tried to get her own kiss.

"And Alex, you're like my twin soul".

In 2014, her former band Fifth Harmony were awarded Artist to Watch for Miss Movin' On.

She described it as a "surreal moment". It was in keeping with her previous speech - and though there's no reason to be humble when you take the top prize, it's refreshing to know that you still can be. Music, acting, performing, this career has always been kind of an obsession for me.
