Chinese smartphone maker OnePlus has notched up an impressive achievement for a company its size: It sold more than one million of its latest smartphone - the OnePlus 6 - in just over three weeks. The base model starts at a slightly higher price of US$529 in the US.
As a sign of gratitude, OnePlus has announced a "Community Celebration Season" that will see the rollout of exciting offers over 12 days, from 15th June 2018 to 26th June 2018.
Earlier this year, the OnePlus 6 launch event sold-out with over 1,000 tickets bought in under 10 hours, and now the community continues to grow with over five million people across the world.
OnePlus believes the company's "one flagship a year" strategy helped them achieve such great numbers for the OnePlus 6 in such a short span of time.
Users can receive an extended warranty of three months under the OnePlus referral program on Amazon. Other offers include free upgrades of software flashing and diagnosis even on "Out of Warranty" cases and a 10 per cent additional discount on spare parts.
Termed as the ultimate "flagship killer", the device comes in 6GB RAM/64GB storage, 8GB RAM/128GB storage and a special limited Marvel Avengers Limited Edition, version which comes with 8GB RAM and a massive 256 storage option. "In addition, the OnePlus 6 is available on Amazon in Italy, Germany, France and Spain".
The device sports a 6.28-inch FullHD+ display along with the latest Snapdragon 845 SoC. It has a dual rear camera of 16-megapixel and a 20-megapixel sensor.
One of the main features officially announced by the company that makes this product unique from its other contenders in the market is that Bullet wireless earphones come with magnetic switches instead of power on-off buttons and so the earbuds can be attached and detached simultaneously to turn the earphones on and off. Well, that was kind of expected as OnePlus's loyal consumers had been waiting for the company to bring out the OnePlus 6.
