United Nations spokesman Stephane Dujarric said late Tuesday that Moon asked Guterres for United Nations support "to verify the imminent closure" of North Korea's nuclear test site.

Moon and Kim met on the South Korean side of the border village of Panmunjom last Friday, and Kim became the first DPRK leader to set foot on South Korean soil since the end of the 1950-53 Korean War.

Five of North Korea's six known underground nuclear tests, including the largest, carried out in September 2017, were conducted under Mt Mantap, the analysis said. Kim has been doing all of his nuclear testing underground throughout China, Inhofe said. The second prong envisaged using deterrence as a leverage to develop friendly relations with the worldwide community, particularly with the USA, and work for peace, prosperity and reunification in the Korean Peninsula.
