This is the second straight White Sox game to be postponed due to weather. It was the third postponement in a week for the Twins.
- The Minnesota Twins-Chicago White Sox game has been postponed to a later date, the team announced Saturday.
Meanwhile, back in Chicago, the Cubs hosted Atlanta for an afternoon game with a first-pitch wind chill factor of 30 degrees at Wrigley Field. The announcement of a rescheduled game will come at a later time. The team also called off the finale of its home-opening series against Seattle on Sunday. Sunday's game, set for 2:10 p.m. ET, could be in question as well depending on how much snow falls.
The White Sox had been considering using Reynaldo Lopez, who was supposed to start Friday.
