It is not the first ThinQ smartphone as LG V30S ThinQ announced at MWC in just two months ago.

Speaking of which, LG Electronics will be at Metropolitan West in Manhattan, New York, on May 2nd to launch the LG G7 ThinQ and in Seoul, Korea on May 3rd for the same goal. And like that V series smartphone, the LG G7 ThinQ is going to put an emphasis on AI. It looks like LG will not brand the phone with "G7" on the back and will simply go for "LG".

LG till not hinted at anything else other than the official name of the phone, so we can expect a series of pre-announcements before the launch event.

Some of the features teased for the LG G7 ThinQ include Voice AI and Vision AI which adds to the overall user experience.

Earlier this year, reliable smartphone leaker Evan Blass reported that LG had cancelled the LG G7 smartphone it had been working on. However, Aurora Black might be available by default in all regions.

LG has confirmed through a blog post that it will be launching its next flagship smartphone, the LG G7 ThinQ at an event in NY on May 2, which will be followed by the launch in South Korea on May 3. Now it is also confirmed that the smartphone has to come with a ThinQ branding. However, the lenses on the G7 are vertically aligned, while the ones on the G6 were positioned horizontally. Apart from the volume rocker and power key, the handset also features an additional button. We will show the convenience that we have not seen until now by concentrating the accumulated AI technology. The new render reveals that it will be arriving in five color options such as Aurora Black, Platinum Grey, Moroccan Blue, Moroccan Blue (Matte), and Raspberry Rose.

LG G7 could come with the Snapdragon 845 processor, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage, and a 3000mAh battery.
