The Martins Ferry Recreation Center is hopping with the activity as park district workers are filling treat bags and gathering plastic eggs for an upcoming Easter egg hunt for children who live in Martins Ferry or attend school there. The first concert will be a Good Friday concert which starts at 1:30 p.m., followed by a brief service at 2:30 p.m. The egg hunt serves as a means of getting the word out about the organization while focusing on the community kids themselves.
Like last year's event, age groups will be split in order to give everybody fair chances at collecting as many as possible.
